Minister of Environment and Forestry, Indonesia
Siti Nurbaya obtained her PhD in Environmental Science in 1998 from a joint program between Bogor Agricultural University and Siegen University, Germany.
She began her career as a government officer at Lampung Provincial Government in 1981 and a few years later was appointed as the Deputy Head of Provincial Development Planning Office. In 1998 she was transfered to Jakarta, assigned as the Director of Planning Bureau in the Ministry of Home Affairs, and in 2001 was promoted as the Secretary General of the Ministry. For the period of 2006 to 2009, she became one of the first Indonesian’s Senators. In October 2014, H.E. President Jokowi appointed her to join the current Government Cabinet, to serve as the Minister for Environment and Forestry, newly consolidated portfolio from two previously Ministry of Forestry and Ministry of Environment, housing more than 16,000 national civil servants. The Ministry also serves as the focal point for climate change issues.
Siti Nurbaya has been active in domestic and international fora that make her frequently invited to address a wide spectrum of subjects such as: environmental and natural resources management, regional autonomy, bureaucracy, politics, democracy, parliament, political economy, women empowerment, geoscience, and geographic information systems.

H.E. Dr. Basuki Hadimuljono is the Minister of Public Works and Housing, Republic of Indonesia. Born in Solo on 5th November 1954, Dr. Hadimuljono received his undergraduate degree in Geological Engineering from Gajah Mada University in Yogyakarta on 1979. He then received his Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Civil Engineering from Colorado State University, USA, majoring in irrigation. Dr. Hadimuljono has an extensive track record in the Public Works Ministry. He started his career at the top management level as the Director General of Water Resources in the Ministry of Human Settlement and Regional Infrastructure from 2003 to 2005. Afterward, he served as the Director General for Research and Development in the Ministry of Public Works in 2005 - 2007. He was later appointed as Inspector General of the Public Works Ministry for the period of 2007 to 2013. Thereafter, he served as the Director General of Spatial Planning before being sworn as the Minister of Public Works and Housing of the Republic of Indonesia by President Joko Widodo on 27th October 2014

Born 21 June 1963. He is the Indonesian Minister for Energy and Mineral Resources under President Joko Widodo‘s administration. He was a former Indonesian Minister of Transportation a former CEO of the Indonesian government-owned railway company, PT Kereta Api Indonesia (PT. KAI), from 2009 to 2014. Born in Singapore, Jonan received his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Airlangga University, Surabaya in 1986, and M.A. in International Relations and Affairs from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University in 2005. He started his professional career in the banking sector, holding a managing director role in the American banking and financial services corporation, Citigroup, before entering the public transportation sector in 2009.

Prof. Dr. Saravanamuthu Vigneswaran is professor in School of Civil and Environmental Engineering and active in Centre for Technology in Water and Wastewater Treatment. His major areas of research include membrane technologies and hybrid systems for water reuse and desalination, high rate solid liquid separation technologies for package water treatment systems, advanced oxidation, photocatalysis, biofiltration for persistent organic removal, optimising treatment systems and their operation.
Prof. Yasushi Kiyoki

Prof. Yasushi Kiyoki received his B.E., M.E. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Keio University in 1978, 1980 and 1983, respectively. In 1983 and 1984, he worked at Electrical and Communication Labratory of NTT. From 1984 to 1996, he was with Institute of Information Sciences and Electronics, Univ. of Tsukuba, as an assistant professor and then an associate professor. Since 1996, he has been with Department of Environmental Information at Keio University, where he is currently a professor. His research addresses multidatabase systems, knowledge base systems, semantic associative processing, and multimedia database systems. He serves as the chair on Special Interest Group of Database Systems and as the editor-in-chief on Transactions on Databases in Information Processing Society of Japan. He also serves as the program chair for the 7th International Conference on Database Systems for Advanced Applications
